Evaldo Casas was born on August 5, 1963, in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Mercedes Casas Castaneda and Ezequiel Casas. He came to the United States at the age of four and grew up in Pasadena, California, where he became known for his warmth, generosity, and strong sense of family.
The eldest of six brothers, Evaldo was a natural leader and lifelong protector of his family. He proudly embraced his roots, spending time in his parents’ hometown in Mexico and working at his father’s ranch, El Ponte Duro, as a teenager before returning to Pasadena at 17 to help support his family while attending Blair High School.
Evaldo dedicated many years to working in healthcare, including long service at Las Encinas Hospital and later Parkview Community Hospital. He had a deep love for life he loved to dance, cook, and bring people together. Through his party crew, The Boys of Conquest, he created lasting friendships and unforgettable memories throughout the San Gabriel Valley.
Evaldo was deeply family-oriented and cared for all of his nephews and nieces as if they were his own children. He passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 62, surrounded by family and is deeply loved. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.
