Shanay Nicole Hawkins was born October 19, 1975 in Pasadena, California to Michael S. Hawkins, Sr. and Lynn E. Parker (Hamilton). She was the oldest of 7 children, Nikesha Michelle, Michael Seth, Marchell Jr, Nicole Michelle, and Mariah Monae Hawkins.

Shanay attended Cleveland Elementary School and Wilson Jr. High School. Shanay Hawkins proudly earned her high school equivalency diploma.

By the age of 16, she had her first born, Tiana Jackson (1991), her second born Joseph Narcisse (1994), Ebony Narcisse (1996), Donte Narcisse (1997), and Jayde Gordon (2008).

She was a grandmother and a devoted family member who cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed filling her home with music, especially songs by one of her favorite artists, Babyface.

Her kindness, love, and beautiful spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
